Malaysia Seeks Deeper Sports, Youth Relations with China
Addressing attendees at the Malaysia-China friendship run in Sabah state, Yeoh praised China’s consistent excellence in sports, noting that Malaysia continues to benefit from shared experiences and joint training initiatives with its Asian counterpart.
"China is always known as one of the key (sports) leaders in Asia, even at the Olympic level," she said.
The event, held in Sabah and organized by the Malaysia-China Friendship Association Sabah, brought together over 5,000 participants. Among them were young people from both nations, local families, and staff members from Chinese companies operating in Malaysia.
