T MARKET opens Massachusetts flagship at Natick Mall

The opening followed an extended period of planning, construction, product selection and operational preparation. Liao said bringing the concept to life required patience and close coordination among contractors, suppliers, business partners and store employees. In the days leading to the event, team members prepared departments, stocked products and readied the market for customers. Yang described the Natick store as the beginning of an ongoing relationship rather than the completion of a single project. Massachusetts Senate President Karen E. Spilka welcomed the investment and described the store as an important addition to MetroWest and the state. She highlighted its fresh-food offerings, job creation, community space and potential to help people connect through food and tradition. Spilka also recognized the work of T MARKET employees and the collaboration among the company, Natick Mall, local officials and regional partners.

Spilka placed the opening within the broader growth of MetroWest, which she described as an important economic center for Massachusetts. He presented a citation from the Massachusetts House of Representatives congratulating T MARKET on the grand opening and extending wishes for continuing success. Spilka also presented a state recognition, and Angelique Ferguson, a staff assistant in the office of U.S. Rep. Katherine Clark, presented a Congressional Citation recognizing the milestone and the company's contribution to the local business community.

The three recognitions presented during the ceremony reflected support from the state Senate, the state House and Clark's congressional office. Together, the citations acknowledged the opening as a business milestone and recognized the company's investment in Natick. The presentations were followed by photographs with the founders before the program continued with additional state, town and mall representatives.

Governor's Councilor Tamisha Civil spoke about the store's role in creating jobs and bringing people together through food from different cultures. Peter Milano, director of strategy and business development at the Massachusetts Office of Business Development, offered congratulations on behalf of Gov. Maura Healey and Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll. He thanked the T MARKET team for its investment and for the employment opportunities created by the project.
Milano also noted the scale of the store's build-out and said the jobs associated with the project matter to both the community and the commonwealth. Civil emphasized the role food can play in creating shared experiences across cultural backgrounds. Their remarks echoed a central theme of the event: that the new location is intended to function as an employer, retail destination and community gathering place.

Natick officials participating in the event included Select Board members Cody Jacobs, Kristen L. Pope and Bruce T. Evans; Town Administrator James "Jamie" Errickson; Fire Chief Jason Ferschke; and Police Chief James G. Hicks.
