Peloton Technologies Partners with Driven Financial to Give Small Businesses Faster Access to Working Capital

We are always looking at ways to reduce the load on small businesses through innovation in payments. A lending partner like Driven Financial, who shares our approach, is a natural fit.”
— Craig Attiwill, Peloton Technologies Founder & CEO
VICTORIA, BC, CANADA, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Fintech Peloton Technologies and Driven Financial today announced a partnership that gives Peloton’s small business clients preferred access to Driven’s working capital financing, alongside Peloton’s existing Bill Pay by Card solution. Where Bill Pay by Card lets businesses delay outgoing payments by up to 55 days, Driven provides longer-term funding for businesses that need more runway than a single payment cycle can offer.

“It’s not easy to be a small business owner in Canada, and the last few years have been unkind. Tariffs, inflation, fraud, cyber threats, and rising costs remain sources of financial stress that make it hard for a business to focus on growth,” said Craig Attiwill, Founder & CEO of Peloton Technologies. “We are always looking at ways to reduce that load through innovation in payments. It’s a natural fit to partner with a lender who shares our approach – bringing real relief, and real opportunity, to clients who need it.”

Over the last two decades, Driven Financial has provided over $1 billion in financing to more than 17,000 Canadian small and medium-sized businesses. Driven operates as an alternative lender alongside Canada's major financial institutions, offering small businesses more options for how they fund growth. Its model is built on transparent, disclosed-rate financing that rewards early repayment rather than locking businesses into a fixed cost of capital — an approach that has made it a natural partner for Peloton.

"Most business financing is built to lock you in - fixed payments, no matter how the month actually goes. We built Driven around the opposite idea: pay it down faster, and the cost comes down with it. Partnering with Peloton means more small businesses across Canada get financing that works with them, not against them," said Matthew Raposo, Vice President, Lending Products, Driven Financial.

Bill Pay by Card is Peloton's existing solution for paying suppliers and vendors with a credit card while extending cash float. Together with Driven’s financing, Peloton’s small business clients now have two complementary tools: short-term float for existing obligations, and longer-term working capital for growth or unexpected costs.

The partnership is available now to Peloton's small business clients across Canada. Businesses can learn more or apply online.
